Michela Amici
Michela Amici is a harp player, equally at home performing on historical as well as modern harps. As a researcher, her interest lies in improvisatory practices as well as music fragments.
She is currently working on the reconstruction of Stefano Landi's incomplete harp canzonas. The results of her work will be presented in April 2026 at the Donnerstag-Akademie in Basel.
Michela studied at the Conservatory G. Rossini of Pesaro (M.Mus in harp), at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague (M.Mus NAIP; B.Mus in historical harps), and at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in Basel (Postgraduate studies in historical harps). Her teachers include Ernestine Stoop, Christina Pluhar and Flora Papadopoulos. Moreover, she holds a Master in Architecture from the University of Bologna.
At the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague, Michela teaches the course Preparation for Professional Practice for Bacherlor 4 students, and is Professional Integration Coach for the Master students of the Classical department.
