Master Research Symposium KC 2025

7 Apr 2025 — 11 Apr - Amare, Koninklijk Conservatorium

This year the Royal Conservatoire is hosting the annual Master Research Symposium from 7 to 11 April. During this week-long public event, Master's students from the departments of Classical Music, Jazz, Early Music, Vocal Studies, Composition, Art of Sound, and New Audiences and Innovative Practice (NAIP) will present the research projects they have been working on for two years before an international committee of experts. The presentations assume a variety of creative forms and the artistic research projects are often illustrated musically and visually.

The symposium takes place between 09:00 and 21:30 every day in Studio 1 and Studio 2, on Monday 7 April also in Studio A (Art of Sound) and on Friday 11 April also in Studio 6. A full programme of the presentations can be found on the link below. Click on the title of a presentation to see the research question and abstract. It is also possible to filter the presentations by main subject. All presentations are publicly accessible without reservation.
