Guest lecture and screenings by curatorial/screening collective, First Cut.
First Cut will give a lecture about collective film practices, addressing the position of research in their work both as individuals and as a curatorial/screening collective. The importance of the socio-political lens in film is a guiding principle for First Cut, which they will discuss in the context of their collaborative screening programmes - Common(ing) Thread and Re-enactment - as well as by sharing excerpts of and research behind their own individual film projects.
