Sanne Bakker completed her Master Harp (cum laude) at the Royal Conservatory (KC) in The Hague with Sylvain Blassel. Before that, she graduated from Music Education and Classical Harp studies at the ArtEZ Conservatory in Zwolle with Manja Smits; both with distinction.

Sanne plays the harp in many different settings, from orchestras (including the Metropole Orkest and philharmonie zuidnederland) to solo and chamber music to collaborations with other art disciplines such as theater, storytelling, sculptural art, and light installations. She is currently on tour with the Millennium Jazz Orchestra as a guest soloist.
