Jort van der Laan

Jort van der Laan engages with clinical and spiritual practices through moving image and text. Invested in mind–body techniques, his work concerns the promise of a healing language.

He is an artist-in-residence at Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten. He is an external PhD candidate at the Academy of Creative and Performing Arts and is regularly involved with Studium Generale Rietveld Academie.
