Artur Jerzy Dobija
Artur Dobija holds an MA in Composition from the Academy of Music in Katowice and a BA in Music Theory (with Sonology minor) from the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague.
He is currently pursuing a MSc in Creative Intelligence & Technology at Leiden University. Since 2025 he works for the Royal Conservatoire, developing a music theory online examination platform. He takes part in Conservatorium’s lectorate program, developing a tool for digital early music editions (Early). Preliminary work was presented at Alamire’s „Past Forward” conference in 2025.
He sings Gregorian chant and choir- or partbook polyphony with Cappella Hadewigis, Cantores Sancti Gregorii and Schola Cantemus Domino. From 2024, his Cappella Boanerges organizes Latin Vespers in Jacobuskerk, focusing on falsobordoni and Dutch polyphonic repertoire.
