Prof. dr. Erik Viskil, the academic director of ACPA. He is a researcher, educator and academic director. His research interests are in film, with an emphasis on the discursive possibilities of the medium, and in artistic research.

Prof. dr. Marcel Cobussen is the representative of docARTES. He is Full Professor of Auditory Culture and Music Philosophy at ACPA. In his research and teaching he mainly deals with sounds in public urban environments, everyday sounds, artistic research, improvisation and the role of music in society.

PhD candidate Emma Williams. Emma will explain her artistic research PhD at Leiden University, which is exploring the expressive possibilities of embodying early-19th-century acting, vocal, and violin performance practices in current performance.

PhD candidate at docartes Margarita Brillada. Margherita is a sound artist and radio maker-curator based in The Hague. She is currently a research associate at the Institute of Sonology, with a practice-oriented research project entitled: Re-thinking Radio Art: Community Radio and WebRadio. By re-thinking radio as an exhibition space for experimental sound art, the project attempts to articulate a specific 'radio poetics' according to the sonic dimension intrinsic to the medium.
