Eliane Esther Bots will give a guest lecture titled 'About telling and listening, a narrating self'.
Through screenings, readings, conversations, and a participatory exercise, Eliane will share her research in and through her films. We will watch 'In Flow of Words', an award-winning short experimental film about the piercing experiences of three interpreters of the Yugoslavia Tribunal in The Hague and their position as a channel between speakers and listeners, witnesses and defendants, judges and attendees.
Eliane will also screen fragments from her films 'Cloud Forest' and 'Conversations' as well as works by some other filmmakers, including Mikhail Karikis.
