In addition to his musical expertise, Cristiano holds a degree in Philosophy, specialising in Ethics and French Phenomenology, with a particular emphasis on Jacques Derrida’s work. His lectures examine the intersections of education, art, and contemporary culture. Since 2007, Cristiano has led a wide range of musical projects, from violin-guitar duos to large ensembles, performing internationally. In 2018, he designed a hybrid instrument combining elements of the violin and guitar, which he has since used to explore its potential across various genres. In 2021, Cristiano delved into set theory and developed alternative ways for its practical application. Since 2023, his research has centered on the interplay between music and dance in improvised performances. He is currently involved in several interdisciplinary projects merging music, dance, and visual arts. Active within his community, Cristiano is a member of KC’s EDI group and co-leads PLAY, a socially engaged workshop where audiences and performers reflect on listening and collaborate to create musical meaning and nurture community.
