Blandine Joret

Blandine Joret is assistant professor of film, media and culture at the University of Amsterdam.

Her book, Studying Film with André Bazin (AUP 2019), offers fresh insights into the critical methodology of André Bazin and its contemporary relevance. Blandine’s current research is on the history of popular film education, film clubs, and the application of critical and eco-pedagogical approaches to film studies.
