[LAST CALL] Joint Research Day 22 Nov 2024 - On Collective Practices & Collaboration in Research in the Arts

On 22 November 2024, the second edition of the Joint Research Day 2024 (JRD24), this year around the ideas of Collective Practices & Collaboration in Research in the Arts, will take place. Are you part of the KABK, KC and ACPA network, and would you like to participate?

The call for expressions of interest is open until 1 September 2024.

The aim of the Joint Research Day 2024 (JRD24) is bringing artist-researchers from different disciplines and from the network of Royal Academy of Art (KABK), the Royal Conservatoire (KC) and the Academy of Creative and Performing Arts (ACPA) of the Leiden University together to inspire each other, generate mutual interest, and learn from each other.

On the 22nd of November 2024, the JRD will revolve around ideas of Collective Practices & Collaboration in Research in the Arts. On this day we will collectively, and from multiple perspectives, discuss/share/practice/exercise the question: How is ‘practicing or working together’ imagined and actualised within contexts of research in the arts, and the world today?

How to show your interest to participate in the JRD24?

Are you an artist-researcher within the networks of KC/KABK/ACPA [current student, artist-teacher, alumn, lecturer] or part of an (artistic) research collective of x-discipline and do you want to present your research (in progress), organize a workshop, show your research film, perform your research work or do something else? Get in touch with Lianne van Roekel via info@researchplatform.art or L.vanroekel@kabk.nl before 1 September 2024. Send in your proposal of max 250 words, with some images and a link to the work (in progress). We will get in touch with you before 9 September 2024.
