Questionnaire Open Access Publishing in Professional Journals
Over the past few years, the Taskforce Open Science has carried out several studies, including the development of a model publication policy for universities of applied sciences. Commissioned by the Advisory Committee on Open Science of the Association of Universities of Applied Sciences (VH), the Taskforce has now launched a new Exploration of Open Access Publishing in Professional Journals and is inviting researchers to complete a short questionnaire.
The aim of this exploration is to answer the question: how can articles in professional journals be published Open Access? The results will help identify current obstacles and inform proposals for solutions, bringing Open Access publishing in professional journals one step closer to becoming standard practice for all researchers at universities of applied sciences
On behalf of the Taskforce, PARC shares this questionnaire with researchers within our institution(s). Completing the survey will take approximately 10 to 15 minutes. It is available in both Dutch and English, and will remain open until 19 May 2025. The outcomes of the survey will be shared afterwards by the Taskforce/Association of Universities of Applied Sciences (VH).
